Nick came to us along with Daisy May and four puppies. two passed
away and the other two are growing into beautiful individuals who are full of life, these fur babies were at risk of being put down for space. as an animal lover and rescuer how can I be expected to see faces like these and turn away?

Meea and wolfie came to us from fresno again innocent babies faced losing their lives because shelters everywhere are experiencing more animals coming in then they have space to put them. again how can someone know this and not jump to help?
these innocent souls deserve a chance to live to grow to be loved and to love. I have always loved animals more than people I have had many dogs in life but I never thought I would work in animal welfare I just could not stand by while animals are killed and not be able to stop it. But when a situation involving my dogs offsprings left me desperate for help I learned the hard way that help is rare and far between, one of the worse things I have had to go through is not being able to help my dogs I love them more then words can explain they are my reason for being they are why I wake up in the morning why I work around the clock trying to change the world we live in so that pets everywhere are safe.
I believe that dogs do not get the respect or understanding they deserve even from those who LOVE them.
Humans say they love them and everyone is always so fast to pass judgement and tell others what they are doing is wrong. but the truth is a dog does not care if you live in a house an apartment or tailer, they don’t care how much money you make what kind of car you drive they are happy to be with you and to be loved by you. when i save a dog i do it out of love and wanting to save a life i thought that was goal to save lives yet every turn I am only hearing that what must be done and what can be done and all play a role is the killing of shelter pets so i wonder what is the goal exactly and is there any law that limits the amount of effort someone can do to save animals?
