CURRENT VOLUNTER OPENINGS

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

 Manage recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of all volunteers.  

– Serve as the primary point of contact, offering support and resolving queries.  

– Develop training materials and deliver regular volunteer orientations.



TRANSPORT COORDINATOR

Organize and schedule all animal transport logistics (to vets, fosters, events).  

– Maintain vehicle readiness and compliance with safety protocols.  

– Coordinate volunteer drivers and map efficient routes.  


ADOPTION COORDINATOR

– Oversee the adoption process from inquiry to final placement.  

– Screen prospective adopters, conduct home visits, and finalize agreements.  

– Track post-adoption follow-up to ensure successful matches. 



BEHAVIOR COORDINATOR

– Assess animals’ behavioral needs and design customized enrichment plans.  

– Train volunteers on handling techniques and conduct group workshops.  

– Monitor progress and adjust behavior protocols as needed.  


INTAKE COORDINATOR

– Manage all incoming animal intakes, ensuring proper documentation and initial health checks.  

– Liaise with shelters, rescues, and community members regarding surrenders.  

– Assign each animal to the appropriate care track (foster, quarantine, medical).  


COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

Craft and execute a cohesive messaging strategy across channels.  

– Write press releases, newsletters, and website content to amplify our mission.  

– Monitor media coverage and manage crisis communications when needed.  


OVERNIGHT KENNEL TECH

– Provide overnight care, monitoring, and enrichment for kennel animals.  

– Record behavioral observations and escalate any emergencies.  

– Ensure all safety checks and rounds are completed on schedule. 


VETERINARIAN

 Perform medical examinations, surgeries, and wellness checks.  

– Develop and oversee treatment plans, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.  

– Advise on shelter medicine best practices and staff training.  


ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANCE

 Support day-to-day office operations, including data entry and file management.  

– Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and handle correspondence.  

– Assist directors with scheduling, travel arrangements, and special projects.
